_{With Place Services, Inc.’s continued growth and desire to meet the needs of our clients, in the first half of 2022 PSI’s Asset Materials Team has been working diligently to improve PSI material distribution capabilities by utilizing one of our Georgia warehouses.}_{Following this change the team implemented a new RFMS inventory system and filled strategic personnel positions to enable PSI to have the ability to fill the material needs of our customers quickly, safely and efficiently. Our goal as a company is to Be the Greatest Source of Help to Our Customers and we hope with the execution of our new inventory system, the conversion of our new warehouse and the completion of our Asset Materials Team we will be able to do just that.}

PSI Walmart Expansion – Hiram, GA

Place Services Inc. General Contracting Grocery Construction Department, Carpentry & Paint Division, Electrical Division, Flooring Division, EMS/BAS Division and Plumbing Division all worked together to complete a Walmart Expansion Project with an interior Remodel in Hiram, GA. This 3-month expansion included constructing a ground-up addition to the original building structure for a new Online Delivery Pickup Center. The interior remodel included updating the mother’s room, family room, restrooms, sales floor, full interior paint, the installation of new fitting rooms and more. The PSI General Contracting project lead was Chris Lee with PSI Superintendents Greg Choate and Brad Elliot. We are thankful for our continued partnership with Walmart and the PSI Subcontracting Divisions.

Rickenbacker Update

Rickenbacker work continues with additional scope including Hanger 885 work summary. PSI is on track to finish the hanger renovation project at the Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base two months ahead of schedule!
Hangar 885 was originally constructed to be a maintenance hangar for the B29 bombers, and was adapted to accommodate the C-130 transport aircrafts in the 1980s. Most recently it has served as the maintenance hangar for the 121st Air Refueling Wing for the KC-135 Stratotankers. The renovation PSI is performing changes this 75-year-old hangar into a state of the art Medical and Dental facility which will include a flight logistics and flight simulator for the Air National Guard’s service members getting ready to deploy. This facility will serve the entire region as the starting point to get battle ready for the missions they perform. This 70,000 square foot renovation includes all new power, lighting, HVAC systems, plumbing, fire alarm, sprinklers and low voltage network cables. The facility will look similar on the outside to the old original hangar, but inside it will have new modern features.

Heritage Church

Recently, Place Services, Inc. (PSI) secured a $4.8 million dollar contract with Heritage Church for an 11,700 square foot ground-up sanctuary building. Based in Centerville, Tennessee, the congregation currently meets in a beautiful, rustic pavilion for their services. Due to growth and to meet a future vision, Heritage Church sought a new worship home to enable larger services and become part of a campus of buildings. To plan that future vision, Heritage Church worked with our architect Matthew Cash and his A&E team to design the new sanctuary. PSI is now tasked with constructing the new sanctuary building over a nine-month period, through a Design-Bid-Build contract. Construction commences this February and will be complete by December 2022. Rick Teal and Bret Weishaar, our Business Development Director and Project Manager respectively, will lead the construction effort to ensure client satisfaction, quality, and most importantly – safety.

MINDFORGE, LLC SAFETY COURSE

Now, more than ever, there is an increased demand for investment in quality training. We are thrilled to be partnering with MindForge LLC for our safety courses! The MindForge Platform is the easiest way for contractors to take their safety and quality programs to the next level. This program establishes a digital connection with the front-line workforce. Centralizes all training and information in one place. Distributes it to mobile devices. Provides people training they’ll enjoy.

Place Services knows who’s trained on what. MindForge brings operations, safety and quality under one roof because all of these components are essential to success. Sometimes, safety and production compete for time. They don’t need to anymore.

MindForge is about increasing productivity, enhancing the bottom-line, doing amazing work and going home at the end of the day. Ultimately, our goal is to save lives and keep our employees safe at Place Services. At PSI we have now had 14 of our employees complete their safety onboarding and many more are in the process of completion.

RICKENBACKER AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE

V-Line Services in partnership with PSI was awarded a Business Federal Construction Contract with the Air National Guard Bureau to renovate 52,300 SF of current hangar space in the historic Hangar 888 at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, OH!

Over the next 18 months, our teams will renovate and modernize the administrative offices, shop space, and physical fitness center. This includes the addition of new walls, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and communications systems. The goal is to make a complete usable space for the Air National Guard Medical and Training Team.

Dalton DDS

Our Architecture and Engineering Division, led by Matthew Cash, has a history of teaming with state and local governments and agencies. Place Services Inc. (PSI) believes in building our communities through thoughtful design and construction. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and build for our company’s home, the State of Georgia. Working with the Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission (GSFIC), the Georgia Department of Driver Services and the Whitfield County Government, PSI recently finished the design documents for the DDS-15 New Customer Service Center in Dalton, Georgia. Pictured is the groundbreaking to begin the construction of the new DDS facility.

The facility is officially under construction, and will serve Whitfield County with basic skills, motorcycle, and commercial driver’s license services and testing. This building will replace their existing building and be located on Wagner Drive in Dalton, GA. The facility is a little over 8,000sf and will include a queuing area, multiple teller stations, testing area, driver course testing canopy, and a large administration area. The goal is to have the new DDS building construction completed by the beginning of 2022. Look out for the ribbon cutting in January of 2022!
