The Place Services Inc Millwork Division recently completed work for the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. The mission of the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy is to champion the needs of sexually and severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy, and collaboration.

The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy was established as a private, non-profit agency in 1987. The services at this facility are provided at no cost to children who reside in or were abused in DeKalb or Fulton County. The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy’s role throughout the criminal investigation is to focus on the child’s needs, rather than focusing on the crime itself.

The project completed by our Millwork Division included the build and install of several cabinets, a reception desk, paneled accent wall and a custom-made wooden sign. Our team also assisted in redesigning the rock garden area!

About a week after the project was completed, we were proud to see that project be a small part of raising over $100 million to combat human trafficking. Ivanka Trump, Attorney General Barr, and Gov. Brian Kemp visited GCCA in September 2020 to bring attention and funding to this important cause.
