Walmart Distribution Center in Douglas, GA
The Carpentry and Paint Divisions of Place Services, Inc. led by @Andy Groover successfully completed a ground-up new building and remodel within existing office and warehouse spaces at the Walmart Distribution Center in Douglas, GA.
Project Managers Mathew Ham and Brian Maldonado led the PSI team through a large Scope of Work on this project:
The extensive list of tasks included were:
- Positioned temporary curtain walls for work containment
- Cleared obstructions and old structures to make space for new office areas
- Enhanced existing office spaces with new layouts, finishes, and ceilings
- Built metal-framed structures for restrooms and offices
- Completed drywall installation and finishing
- Installed laminate wall protection, wood wainscot wall protection, chair rail, and wood trim
- Set up millwork, countertops, and cabinets
- Installed door frames, doors, and hardware
- Installed acoustical and drywall ceilings
- Constructed and painted new open-air shelters for Walmart Associates
- Installed surface-mounted Rhino Rail systems and bollards for building protection
- Refreshed various areas with fresh coats of paint to create welcoming environments
These renovations were executed while the distribution center continued its 24-hour a day, 7-days-a-week operations!
