Led by Andy Groover, the Carpentry and Paint Division of Place Services Inc., has created ground-up new buildings inside another Walmart Distribution Center.

Project Managers Mathew Ham and Brian Maldonado supervised the team through the scope of work at the Midway, Tennessee location. The goal of this project was to create offices and restrooms inside the existing warehouse space.

The crew installed temporary curtain walls to contain the effects of work; demolished warehouse racking and obstructions; metal framed new structures; hung and finished drywall; installed laminate wall protection, wood wainscot wall protection, chair rail, wood trim, setting millwork, countertops and cabinets; installed door frames, doors and hardware, acoustical and drywall ceilings. A fresh coat of paint brightened the new configuration.

The construction was completed while the distribution center continued its round-the-clock operations.
